As an Accountant (m/f/d), you will be a key part of our Finance Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. Together with our World-Class Team, you will play an empowering role in delivering systems for one of Romania's most significant defense procurement programs, with drone assembly taking place entirely in Romania under the European SAFE initiative. The Romanian production site will not only support local defense programs but will also contribute to fulfilling customer orders across Europe and support the delivery of mission-critical systems for Ukraine, reinforcing Quantum Systems' commitment to strengthening European security and defense capabilities. You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance departments to ensure accurate financial operations and compliance. As Quantum Systems continues to expand its industrial footprint in Romania, your mission will be to establish and maintain robust accounting processes that support operational excellence, transparency, and sustainable growth while contributing to the delivery of mission-critical systems deployed across Europe and Ukraine.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, expense reports, and bank transactions.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

  • Assist with VAT filings, tax reporting, and statutory requirements.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams on purchase order and invoice matching.

  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and management summaries.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.

  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial processes and controls.
