We are looking for an HR Virtual Assistant with experience in U.S. HR processes. This role is ideal for someone who can handle compliance-driven tasks with accuracy while maintaining professional communication with both candidates and clients.
Position: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
Compensation: $5–$6 per hour, commensurate with experience
Willing to work during EST Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Manage background check processes and ensure timely completion
- Assist with insurance plan enrollments and employee benefits administration
- Oversee and collect I-9 documentation, licenses, and other compliance records
- Handle W-4 processing and related HR forms
- Maintain and update records using Google Sheets & Google Docs
- Professionally manage email communications with candidates and team members
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews with applicants
- Provide general HR administrative support as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience with US HR processes (background checks, I-9, W-4, insurance enrollments, licenses)
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Prior experience in a remote/virtual assistant role preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a part-time schedule
