Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure that the property is well-maintained and running smoothly. You will assist with leasing, maintenance requests, and resident relations to ensure the highest level of service is provided. Candidate must be bilingual in Spanish & English.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with leasing and renewals to meet occupancy and retention goals.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Monitor and track property performance and report issues to the Property Manager.
  • Handle resident inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of property activities, including leases, payments, and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Previous property management or customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT 

  • Frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs while inspecting properties, and interacting with residents.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., boxes, office supplies, or maintenance tools).
  • Occasional bending, squatting, or kneeling to inspect facilities or manage small repairs.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, computers, and telephones for extended periods.
