Who are we looking for?

Re:Build New Kensington (RBNK) is seeking a hands-on, experienced Quality Manager to lead the evolution and management of an AS9100 / SO 9001 based Quality Management System. This role will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and improving the QMS for the RBNK manufacturing site in PA . This role is critical to developing a robust quality management system that meets OEM expectations, supports customer compliance, and ensures long-term customer satisfaction.

  • Lead the continued development of AS9100 & ISO 9001, aligning systems, documentation, and practices with customer and OEM-specific requirements.
  • Own and manage the quality management system (QMS) for the business, ensuring that every aspect—from supplier quality to final inspection—is aligned with customer expectations, internal standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead the preparation, submission, and completion of quality documentation in coordination with customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
  • Lead a Production Quality Team of Quality Engineers, Quality Specialists, Calibration and Test Technicians, and inspectors.
  • Hire, train, and mentor team members on AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements, core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and quality guidelines.
  • Manage the audit program and serve as the primary liaison for customer quality audits, third-party assessments, and internal audit processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure product and process to support and coordinate launch readiness and program quality planning for new products.
  • Lead problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (e.g., A3, 5-Why, Fishbone) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and promote 5S and Lean within the company

What you will bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, business, or similar field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading/coaching Lean methodologies including facilitation of kaizen events including value stream mapping.
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within a core engineering environment and proven understanding of the Toyota Production System preferred.
  • Six Sigma experience in data analysis, process control, Pareto, scatter diagrams, FMEA, control charts.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and employees.
