Category Development Fundamentals
You use your previous experience in category management or in working with retailers to apply common CM strategies and tactics. You will develop CM concepts, e.g. for the "Perfect Store Energy Drinks" in order to increase sales in the energy drinks category. You are responsible for identifying turnover and sales potential, developing sales arguments and driving strategic, shopper-oriented projects to develop categories with key customers.
Category Development Projects
In cooperation with customers of your sales channels, you carry out category management projects independently. You plan the implementation of the projects in terms of time and are in close contact with the customers over the entire duration of the projects. The focus in the projects is on the classic CM tactics "Efficient assortment" and "Efficient placement". For this you use panel and customer data at branch level as well as Red Bull's own Perfect Store concepts. You present the project status and your recommendations to the customers at regular intervals. For a professional implementation of the project results, you coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders.
Category Analytics & Shopper Insights
You analyze data from internal and external sources (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, GfK and customer tools) and derive recommendations for action for the energy drinks category as well as for Red Bull. You present opportunities and challenges and provide solutions to achieve our business goals for the category and Red Bull. You will carry out category and customer studies at regular intervals to identify developments and potential.
Conceptual Selling
You create compelling sales pitches to answer all category questions using the latest insights, research, and conclusions. If arguments are needed to achieve business goals, you support them with your technical know-how and conceptual work. You summarize the results in professional presentation documents and communicate them internally and externally. You are able to transfer the insights you have gained into concrete implementation projects with our retail partners.
Strategy
In your role, you will act as a competent business partner and internal consultant for the marketing and sales teams on all questions relating to category development. You know all the challenges and questions in the area of the Energy Drinks and Red Bull categories in the "Retail" and "Discounter" channels and you meet them with holistic solutions. You bring your strategic knowledge of the category and its purchasing behavior to bear when creating the Red Bull business plan, in business partner team meetings, task forces and with your customers.
Revenue Management
In your role you will manage pricing strategy of the company. In addition you will carry out promo efficiency studies, for sustainable and efficient resource management.
