What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Managing and operating the pastry section of the kitchen
- Coordinating with the Executive and Sous Chef to ensure smooth workflow
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking equipment
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections according to the hotel’s offerings
- Developing new recipes and decorating desserts for attractive presentation
- Meeting with guests to plan custom desserts for special occasions
- Monitoring ingredient stock and performing inventory procedures
- Ordering supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed
- Ensuring the pastry section complies with safety and health regulation
