As Head Waiter, you will lead by example, delivering flawless service and inspiring a team to provide outstanding experiences for our guests. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to maintain the highest standards of food and beverage service, ensuring every detail of the dining journey reflects our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the front-of-house team during service, ensuring smooth operations and consistent high standards
- Deliver expert knowledge of menus, dishes, and wine pairings; confidently guide guests through their dining experience
- Conduct team briefings, manage daily rotas, and maintain accurate service records using EPOS and other admin tools
- Uphold fine dining etiquette and presentation, with a focus on professionalism, timing, and attention to detail
- Support training and development of junior staff, fostering a positive and professional team environment
- Act as a brand ambassador for the hotel and Relais & Châteaux, reflecting the values of excellence, authenticity, and local culture
