We provide accounting and consulting services to a variety of businesses in various industries. We focus and specialize in a variety of industries including hospitality, construction, professional service, retail, as well as a variety of other industries.
The Position:
The main duties of a Client Service Manager is to deliver client communication and financial information at or above expected delivery date and quality.
The CSM also supports our firms’s clients’ financial objectives by ensuring day-to-day accounting tasks are accomplished timely and accurately, and by providing defined financial reporting & analysis as well as observations and recommendations.
Attributes of a CSM:
- Take 100% ownership of your client deliverables, communicate issues timely and succinctly.
- Communicate clearly and directly with the leadership team members regarding tasks, expectations, timelines.
- Provide clear direction and expectations to staff regarding tasks and follow through to ensure completion and staff development.
- Manage your personal workload and the workload of staff working on the clients to which you are assigned to ensure timely and accurate deliverables to clients.
- Leverage lower-level tasks through proper training to maximize scalability of CSM level responsibilities.
- Leadership & development of staff, be part of the solution not part of a problem.
- Maintain a reliable & consistent schedule – do what you say you are going to do when you say you will do it.
- Maintain professional level of communication internally and externally. Limit conversations regarding staff weaknesses to leadership members only and in a solution-oriented manner.
Accounting Manager Job Duties:
- Maintains communication with client to field & answer questions daily and to ensure client operations’ people provide accounting data via procedure established.
- Responsible for providing weekly deliverables to the client, and/or ensuring weekly deliverables are provided by staff.
- Responsible for providing period end financial statements to client, including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cashflows. This includes preparation of journal entries to properly state asset, liability, and capital accounts, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, analyzing GL detail and recording necessary entries to properly state operating activity.
- Provides written financial analysis as needed to client to summarize results of operations as reported in period financial statements.
- Provides guidance & direction to the company client service accounting team by coordinating & prioritizing duties and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Supports accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy.
- Periodically prepares ad-hoc financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintains confidentiality of client financial information.
- Responsible for making sure we are meeting the client’s expectations to retain our clients.
Accounting Manager Qualifications / Requirements:
- CPA
- Years of experience successfully performing all facets of the accounting process
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
- Experience in General Ledger programs, Quick Books a plus
- Ability to attend to several tasks simultaneously
- Attention to Detail
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines -reliable for consistent results
- Enthusiastic and professional, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

- Motivated – Self starter
- Proficient in high volume client communications via email and phone calls
