Dental Billing Specialist

We are looking for a Dental Billing Specialist to handle the accurate and timely entry of dental insurance claims using our dental billing software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, insurance coding, and claim submission processes. Attention to detail, accuracy, and familiarity with dental billing systems are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and submit dental insurance claims accurately in the dental billing software.
• Review treatment notes and verify that all procedures are properly coded with CDT codes.
• Ensure patient and insurance information is correct before claim submission.
• Track and update claim status in the system, following up on pending or rejected claims.
• Post insurance payments and adjustments when necessary.
• Communicate with dental office staff and insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate claim records for auditing and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in dental billing and claim entry is required.
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans, CDT codes, and EOBs.
• Proficiency with dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
