Job Overview
- Provide first-level technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting network, printer, and internet connectivity problems.
- Help set up new workstations and install software.
- Assist with inventory management of IT assets, including computers, laptops, and accessories.
- Support the IT Manager in performing routine maintenance on Company hardware.
- Help with the deployment and configuration of software applications.
- Assist in basic network administration tasks under supervision.
- Support the implementation of security protocols, such as password resets and user access management.
- Monitor system performance and report any issues to senior IT staff.
- Create and update IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the IT team, such as system upgrades or hardware rollouts.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and help with solutions.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to the position from time to time
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must have a minimum of of 1 years working experience in IT
- Must have prior experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
- Proven ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot common IT issues.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11, macOS).
- Experience with network fundamentals and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
