ALSO is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern who’s excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and eager to help design and develop the next generation of ALSO vehicles and components.

What You Will Do

  • System integration and test

  • Validation test setup and operation

  • Determine test scope, participate in testing and generate test reports

  • Lower complexity printed circuit board design

  • Functional testing and creation of test set-up

  • Design and build custom test equipment such as test PCBAs, harnesses, and overall system design to make validation efficient, modular, and repeatable

  • Manage projects from initial concept through design, assembly, and final commissioning

  • Write and maintain test software to automate test execution, data collection and analysis

  • Develop and maintain validation schedules to coordinate test resources and communicate status to program managers

What You Will Bring

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, with an expected graduation date in 2027.

  • Available Summer 2026

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills

  • Experience with electronics CAD (Altium preferred but other systems acceptable)

  • Experience making or testing or other hands on experience with actual hardware or software; especially personal project not related to work or school

Preferred Experience

  • Experience designing or prototyping EV, e-bike, or consumer electronic components.

  • Hands-on experience using common EE lab equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, various scope probes..)

  • Previous internship or project work in a startup, automotive, or mobility company.


The hourly rate for this role ranges from $30.00 to $50.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
