Job Overview


What You’ll Do 


As an SMB Account Executive, you will be working with business owners, scheduling managers, and operations professionals to help solve challenges surrounding labor management. You’ll qualify their fit for Rippling’s products and help them realize value through discovery conversations, product demos and testing periods. You’ll develop a keen understanding of labor management across multiple industries and will display a strong problem solving ability to map When I Work’s flexible solution to their specific needs. You will also explore interest and fit of Rippling’s broader product suite including Payroll, HR, Spend and more.  In this role you will: 


  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads for buyers with 21 to 200 shift workers.  Conduct effective discovery calls, product demos, and presentations that showcase the value of When I Work products.
  • Achieve revenue quota targets and handle all aspects of the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals
  • Qualify opportunities for Rippling’s products and engage cross-functional team members to help sell
  • Maintain good CRM and pipeline hygiene to manage a pipeline of deals and follow-up activity. Provide weekly bookings forecasts to leadership
  • Become a product expert providing demos and guided trial experiences to prospects
  • Participate in ongoing professional training and development focused on product knowledge and sales skillset
  • Present your results and your business to leaders and peers on a recurring basis
  • Partner with our Customer Success and Care teams to ensure a positive experience through the customer’s smooth transition to training and onboarding
  • Work collaboratively with peer Account Executives in sharing best practices
  • Share feedback and insights with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams including Marketing and Product in pursuit of continual improvement

Experience and Skills Needed

  • 1+ years of quota carrying-experience in software or technology sales, SaaS implementation, mobile apps or cloud software
  • Functional knowledge of workforce management solutions, accounting software, human resources systems and payroll applications
  • Technology savvy and ability to quickly learn new things
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage meetings
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training required
  • Experience in the software or technology industry, preferably with SaaS industry experience (nice to have)
  • Experience with HubSpot (nice to have)
  • Experience with working with technology companies (nice to have)


Compensation:
$127,500 OTE
