Account Executive, SMB

About the role

This SMB Account Executive role is an extremely unique opportunity! We’re looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Rippling sales team in Sydney - someone who can both manage a high velocity sales cycle while also navigating a very strategic sales process. 

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle -engaging with interested prospects, managing sales cycles to help potential customers evaluate our product, closing revenue from marketing generated demos, and working with our implementation team to ensure a seamless transition to our platform for new customers. 

What you will do

• Manage pipeline in Salesforce to accurately forecast revenue
• Run sales calls with short deck presentation and a detailed product demo
• Close business and achieve quota attainment consistently
• Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitor landscape
• Work closely with the implementation team to ensure a smooth transition for new customers

What you will need

• 1-2+ years quota carrying sales experience as an AE in a SaaS organisation
• Previous experience selling HRIS/HCM software is a bonus!
• Proven track record of success (top 10% of sales org)
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• BA/BS Degree preferred
