Now we’re looking for a Senior Category Manager who will take full ownership of the strategy, performance and further development of this key category. Someone who’s great with numbers and suppliers, thinks long-term, and can also handle the day-to-day reality of a fast-moving business.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Category Manager for Private Label (Food) you will own the full commercial performance of the category — from strategy to everyday execution.
Specifically, you will:
Take full ownership for the strategy, performance and growth of Private Label (Food).
Lead negotiations with key suppliers, Joint Business Plans and regular category reviews.
Optimise assortment, pricing and promotional plan to drive sales and margin growth.
Work closely with Marketing, Pricing and Supply Chain to ensure smooth execution — from campaigns to availability.
Contribute to regional sourcing initiatives and cross-market projects.
Lead and develop team members responsible for sub-categories or specific suppliers.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced category leader who combines commercial instinct, analytical thinking and real ownership.
Minimum 3 years of experience in category management or buying, at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.
Experience with Private Label / own-brand food (other FMCG categories are a plus).
Proven track record in growing categories and delivering commercial results (ideally in FMCG or e-commerce).
Strong negotiation skills, data-driven mindset and strategic thinking.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders.
Fluent English; Czech language is a strong advantage.
Nice to have:
Experience managing categories across multiple countries.
Strong supplier network in the local FMCG / food market.
