Job Overview
Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Light Duty Mechanic to join our Mine Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining the operational capability of various mining production equipment, including gensets, pumps, light plants, light vehicles, service trucks, trailers, small loaders, cranes, and utility equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing routine preventive maintenance (P.M.) tasks such as oil changes, component replacements, and system checks on light-duty equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing single and multi-system issues including transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, compressor, and structural systems.
Conducting both major and minor repairs on mobile and utility equipment.
Performing preventive maintenance services on at least eight (8) types of equipment.
Operating diagnostic tools such as SIS and Launch Scanner.
Accurately diagnosing equipment issues and completing repairs within expected timeframes.
Leading small teams on assigned tasks and providing coaching and training to coworkers.
Maintaining tools and ensuring safe and efficient work execution.
Interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural drawings and manuals.
Ensuring high standards of housekeeping, safety practices, and technical execution.
