Cost Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Cost Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project budgets and cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. You will support financial planning, analyze cost variances, and play a key role in project settlements. This role is critical to maintaining cost integrity and ensuring projects remain within budget and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate project budgets and cost estimates in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.

• Track actual expenditures, commitments, and forecast costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Conduct variance analyses and provide detailed monthly cost reports with insightful commentary.

• Support trend and change management processes, including cost/schedule impact analysis, risk and opportunity assessments, and mitigation planning.

• Monitor contractor/vendor costs, review progress claims and variations.

• Participate in construction acceptance and close-out activities.

• Maintain and update cost data and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
