The Kitchen and Storage Administrator provides administrative support to the Executive Chef and the Kitchen Management Team in the company’s daily culinary operations. This role assists the department in implementing culinary programs, storage control processes, initiatives, and projects, while also managing communication, planning, research, and reporting activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Perform the administration functions of the kitchen ordering process
Perform the administration functions of the kitchen reporting process
Ensure kitchen staff are following the processes
Be the central point of communication for the kitchen staff including upcoming
Events, management information, deadlines, changes to process etc.
Assist the Executive Chef with tasks including paperwork e.g. typing up
Recipes and new SOPs, coordinating catering, etc. Ensure these are done timely and efficiently
Ensure kitchen deadlines are met, liaise with appropriate kitchen staff to action tasks.
Fully responsible for the functioning of all storage areas including but not limited to deliveries, daily weekly and monthly inventory, reviewing requisitions to ensure proper coding and the implementation and adherence of all procedures
Keeping office and storerooms clean and tidy
Answering phones and corresponding to emails for general enquiries
Other administrative duties as required
