Mobile Crane Operator Level III

At Rosebel Gold Mines, we are committed to responsible practices and ensuring safe and efficient operations. We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining crawler, hydraulic, or grove cranes to lift, move, and position various loads.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating crane controls (pedals, levers, and buttons) to regulate the speed and direction of crane and hoist movements based on instructions.

• Inspecting cranes for defects and reporting malfunctions to supervisors.

• Cleaning and maintaining cranes and hoisting mechanisms to ensure operational readiness.

• Estimating safe load capacities based on weather conditions and crane specifications.

• Preparing sites by placing appropriate equipment under outrigger pads (timber blocks or steel plates as needed).

• Collaborating with signal personnel to position the hook and secure loads using slings, shackles, and chains.
