Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. is now looking for a HR Lead Trainer. As a HR Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing the short- and long-term objectives of all training projects and action plans, as well as assuring demonstrable outcomes. The Lead Trainer will be responsible for all training activities, from idea to implementation, and will offer high-quality material that fosters an immersive learning environment. The job must oversee all cross-functional projects and action plans, as well as the continuation of training and coaching efforts with quarterly quantifiable results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career paths, performance appraisals, skills-gap assessments, and consultation with HR, department managers, and frontline leaders.
Develop and maintain comprehensive training and development plans, including annual organization-wide and departmental training plans that address identified competency gaps, career development needs, and business priorities.
Design, develop, and coordinate training programs for all employee levels, including technical, professional, onboarding, induction, orientation, and development programs, using appropriate in-house, outsourced, e-learning, on-the-job, mentoring, simulation, and classroom-based methods.
Coordinate and deliver training activities, including employee induction and orientation, internal educational sessions, workshops, train-the-trainer programs, and technical training for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels; ensure new hires receive the required basic technical training for their positions and work areas.
Manage training communications and stakeholder engagement by promoting available learning opportunities, providing employees with relevant training information, liaising with internal subject matter experts and industry professionals, and identifying opportunities for external workshops and specialized training.
Manage the annual training budget and learning resources, ensuring training activities are planned and delivered cost-effectively and aligned with organizational priorities, while maintaining a keen understanding of current training trends, technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on training effectiveness and ROI, including assessing instructional effectiveness, measuring improvements in employee performance and KPIs, gathering feedback from participants and instructors, identifying areas for improvement, and periodically reporting training outcomes and recommendations.
Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation, including employee training files, curriculum databases, training attendance and completion records, equipment/operator sign-offs, and regulatory requirements; work closely with the Safety Team and mine departments to develop and maintain training procedures and ensure training records are complete and audit-ready.
