Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to manage the design, planning, and execution of assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The successful candidate will review production plans and performance to ensure targets are achieved, identify potential risks, and coordinate the development of alternative plans and project modifications to support operational efficiency and business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop infrastructure solutions that meet operational and project requirements.

• Support Senior Project Engineering activities and provide technical expertise.

• Review and analyze engineering designs to ensure project objectives are achieved.

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and milestones.

• Establish and implement project control systems and procedures.

• Manage infrastructure projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Oversee tailings management, inspections, monitoring, and compliance activities.

• Conduct scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies, including economic evaluations.

• Coordinate and supervise design implementation during project execution.

• Facilitate the development of project plans, specifications, and engineering solutions.

• Manage procurement activities for long lead-time materials and equipment.

• Administer contracts, monitor project costs, and prepare performance reports.

• Provide engineering support to operations and identify improvement opportunities.

• Participate in tendering processes, including technical evaluations and bid assessments.

• Lead project commissioning, handover activities, and stakeholder review meetings.
