Security Investigator

We are seeking a Security Investigator to join our team in the Security department at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. As a Security Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into security incidents, analyzing findings, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating, and conducting investigations into alleged and suspected violations of law such as theft, fraud, computer crimes, and workplace violence.

• Gathering information to assist senior managers in understanding the mine site’s exposure in all investigated matters.

• Serving as a subject matter expert on investigative strategies.

• Applying interview techniques to establish facts related to investigations.

• Managing complex investigations as projects, employing project management principles.

• Translating complex facts into formal reports for internal, external, and executive use.

• Performing data analysis to support decision-making and advising management.

• Providing testimony before judicial and legislative bodies in legal proceedings related to relevant investigations.

• Evaluating new investigative tools and techniques.
