Metallurgy Lab Technician

Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metallurgy Lab Technician to join the Mill Metallurgy Department. The successful candidate will support the metallurgical team by conducting sampling, laboratory testing, and process monitoring activities to ensure efficient plant performance and gold recovery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Execute process sampling, laboratory analyses, and metallurgical test work to provide accurate data and support efficient mill operations.

2. Monitor and optimize mill performance, gravity circuits, and metallurgical parameters to maximize gold recovery and operational efficiency.

3. Operate, inspect, and maintain metallurgical systems, field analyzers, and sampling equipment to ensure reliable performance and data integrity.

4. Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards by identifying hazards, maintaining safe work practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

5. Analyze, report, and improve operational data, support process improvement initiatives, train plant personnel on metallurgical best practices, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance enhancement.
