Job Overview

PURPOSE:

We are looking for an experienced finance and accounting professional to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as compliance with Group internal control policies and procedures. Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

You will support the Plant Manager and Coutry Lead as a trusted business partner within the Factory Leadership Teams (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects ) on a day to day basis as well as on a long term strategic view. You will provide visibility around costs related to the plant processes through the driving of relevant analysis and reporting (monitoring/updating of the forecast and controlling spend to ensure savings targets are achieved), as well as to ensure adherence to financial legal requirements and Rotork  Accounting Standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage daily finance operations, including Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, and Revenue Recognition, while coordinating with the Central Services Team for invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
  • Complete the month‑end close process, including the calculation and posting of provisions, and prepare and publish timely monthly management accounts in line with Group reporting deadlines.
  • Analyze product-level gross margins to identify key performance drivers such as volume and mix variances, and participate in monthly performance reviews with Operations by explaining deviations from expectations.

  • Contribute to cost‑improvement initiatives, actively participating in improvement projects and validating proposed savings.
  • Support inventory planning and control, and ensure robust evaluation, monitoring, and governance of capital investment plans and requests.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with Group Policies, research technical accounting issues when needed, and act as the key contact for internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, partnering with key stakeholders to gather, analyze, and challenge assumptions for sales, manufacturing costs, EBIT, working capital, and other key metrics, and prepare quarterly forecasts and the annual budget in the Group consolidation system.
