Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Commissioning
    Install, configure, and commission equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
    Conduct functional tests and ensure systems are operating optimally before handover.
  • Maintenance & Repair
    Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
    Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and carry out corrective repairs.
    Replace faulty components, adjust settings, and calibrate equipment.
  • Technical Support
    Provide technical advice and support to clients both onsite and remotely.
    Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    Maintain accurate service records, including work done, parts used, and time spent.
    Prepare service reports and provide feedback to engineering and product teams.
  • Customer Training & Relationship
    Train clients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment.
    Maintain strong professional relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Safety & Compliance
    Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and company policies.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering field.
  • Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, or installing relevant equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on technical ability.
  • Good communication skills for customer interaction and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and risk assessments.
  • Experience in hydraulic, electrical, mechanical or steel work ( marine/ shipyard)will be advantageous
