Account Executive – New Business (Hunter)

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented New Business Hunter Germany to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within an assigned territory. This role focuses on proactive client acquisition, market expansion, and generating new revenue streams. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with a strong hunter mentality, capable of identifying prospects, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role will own the full sales cycle — from initial prospecting through to deal close — engaging senior customer stakeholders and navigating complex sales environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients through proactive prospecting and outbound activity
- Build and execute a robust territory and account acquisition plan
- Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and market expansion
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends
- Initiate contact with prospects through networking, outreach, and strategic engagement
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from lead identification to contract close
- Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with potential clients
- Engage senior decision‑makers to understand business challenges and position solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for new customers
- Achieve and exceed new business revenue targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management in CRM systems
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Requirements
- Proven +3 year experience in new business development, B2B sales, or strategic sales roles
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for acquiring new clients
- Proven track record of demonstrated success in generating and closing new business opportunities
- Experience managing full‑cycle, multi‑stakeholder sales engagements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
- Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
- Strong resilience, self-motivation, and ability to perform in a target-driven environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Background in cybersecurity, identity, SaaS, or enterprise software preferred
