Associate Consultant (RSA/IAM)

Job Overview

As an Associate Consultant, you will participate in the delivery of technical solutions and engagements under the guidance of Senior Consultants and Architects. You will assist with the development, implementation, configuration, and testing of RSA solutions at customer sites. 


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Implementation & Delivery: Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of RSA solutions and associated components based on architectural designs provided by senior team members.
  • Development & Testing: Support the development of custom scripts and integrations. Execute test plans, including functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Technical Support: Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during implementation. Document configurations and "as-built" details.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to ensure tasks are completed on time. Shadow senior consultants to learn best practices in design and architecture.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Maintain professional relationships with client technical counterparts. Participate in client meetings to document technical requirements and meeting minutes.
  • Teamwork: Work in conjunction with RSA Professional Services colleagues to ensure the effective resolution of technical hurdles. Proactively communicate progress to Technical Leads and Project Managers.
  • Administration: Prepare, maintain, and submit activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures.
  • Flexibility: Understand that travel and/or flexible working hours may be required for project implementation depending on customer requirements.


Skills:

  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Attitude: "Can-do" attitude with a high aptitude for learning new technologies quickly. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • IAM Fundamentals: Foundational understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar).
    • Familiarity with standard protocols and technologies (LDAP/AD, SAML, SSO, MFA, PKI).
    • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and information security fundamentals.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with (or a strong desire to learn) SecurID products and suite.
  • Cloud: Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.


Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Federal Security Clearance:  Ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance of up to Top-Secret is strongly desired.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT services, software development, or a technical support role.
  • Focus: Demonstrated interest in Cybersecurity or Identity and Access Management.
  • Technical Track Record: Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows administration and coding/scripting projects.
