Our Commercial Team offering

The Commercial Team at Rystad Energy consists of three core functions: Business Development, Account Management, and Client Success. We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious intern to join our fast-growing, dynamic commercial organization through a structured summer internship program designed to support these core areas.

During your internship, you will:

  • Contribute to commercial operations, helping streamline processes that enable our sales and client teams to perform at their best.
  • Support lead management activities by identifying, tracking, and analyzing new business opportunities across global markets.
  • Assist with client engagement and support, ensuring our clients have the best possible experience using Rystad Energy’s data and solutions.
  • Assist in developing and executing commercial strategies to meet company goals.
  • Work closely with experienced mentors who will guide you in building confidence, communication skills, and a strong professional network.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the EMEA (Europe, Middle-East & Africa) regions, gaining exposure to global business practices and cross-cultural teamwork.
  • Receive structured feedback and training to develop commercial thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in team meetings and internal projects that provide insight into how commercial strategies are built and executed at a leading energy intelligence company.

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized institution
  • Strong academic performance
  • Genuine interest in the energy sector and eagerness to learn about market trends and dynamics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
