- Are computer literate, with strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook (CRM exposure is a plus).

Your role and responsibilities:
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with Exchange Control applications and enquiries relating to the movement of funds into and out of South Africa.
- Gathering, reviewing and validating supporting documentation to ensure compliance with South African Reserve Bank (SARB), SARS and banking requirements.
- Preparing and submitting Exchange Control transactions and applications through approved banking and regulatory channels.
- Capturing, verifying and maintaining accurate Balance of Payments (BoP) reporting information for all applicable transactions.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new clients, including FICA verification, client due diligence and risk assessment requirements.
- Monitoring active Exchange Control cases and ensuring all outstanding documentation, approvals and conditions are obtained within required timeframes.
- Liaising directly with authorised dealers (banks), relationship managers and other stakeholders to facilitate the processing of client transactions.
- Assisting with offshore investment, inheritance, foreign income, loan, trust, property and emigration-related Exchange Control transactions.
- Communicating with clients telephonically and in writing regarding documentation requirements, transaction progress and regulatory obligations.
- Maintaining complete and accurate client records, audit trails and case notes in accordance with internal compliance procedures.
- Identifying potential compliance risks, documentation discrepancies and technical issues, and escalating these appropriately.
- Supporting senior Exchange Control consultants with research, case preparation and regulatory interpretation.
- Remaining up to date with changes to Exchange Control regulations, banking requirements and internal policies.
- Contributing to service excellence by ensuring client enquiries and cases are handled accurately, professionally and within agreed service levels.
