SageSure, an innovation-focused insurance and technology company, is seeking a Marketing Events Intern who will play a key role in executing our marketing event strategy. You’ll work with groups across the Marketing team to ensure our presence at state-level events and trade shows is aligned, impactful, and on-brand. You’ll also support the planning of our annual partner appreciation trip—an exclusive event that celebrates the success and dedication of our top producers.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in event planning, project coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and brand marketing within the insurance industry.
What you'll be doing:
- Trade Show & Event Support
- Collaborate with the Go-to-Market team to understand event objectives and target audience.
- Coordinate booth design, signage, and collateral with the Creative team.
- Manage timelines, asset requests, and logistics for upcoming trade shows.
- Ensure all materials are delivered, packed, and shipped as needed.
- Annual Partner Appreciation Trip Planning
- Assist the Events Manager in organizing logistics for the annual trip.
- Research and coordinate venues, vendors, gifts, and travel arrangements.
- Track attendee RSVPs and support communication efforts.
- Prepare event materials and assist with on-site execution (if applicable).
- General Support
- Maintain and update event planning documents and project trackers.
- Support budget tracking and vendor invoicing as needed.
- Help evaluate event success through post-event reports and feedback surveys.
- Identify and encourage strategic enhancements and efficiencies that can be gained by leveraging technology, enabling deeper personalization, greater engagement and an improved agent experience.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest innovation in marketing with an eye for improving SageSure's capabilities
We are looking for someone who is:
- Graduating in 2026 or 2027 with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A strong communicator with a collaborative spirit.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A creative thinker with an eye for branding, aesthetics, and customer experience.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, but also able to work independently.
- Curious and eager to understand the insurance industry and our customer base.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Always searching for innovative ideas and technology that could improve our marketing capabilities.
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Previous internship or event coordination experience
- AI experience or coursework (e.g., applied AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or workplace analytics tools).
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Experience with Wrike or other project management tools
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud
