Job Overview

The Analyst 1 (Inventory Control) is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, integrity, and flow efficiency through data-driven analysis, system enablement, and process optimization. This role contributes from day one by strengthening inventory visibility, identifying discrepancies, and supporting operational decision-making. The Analyst also plays a key role in advancing inventory management from manual tracking to automated, system-driven, and intelligent control environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and data integrity across systems (WMS/ERP/MES).
  • Monitor inventory movements (receipts, storage, kitting, issuance) and highlight risks such as shortages, excess, or misalignment.
  • Support cycle count processes, variance analysis, and root cause identification.
  • Ensure proper tracking and control of non-conforming inventory (e.g., MRB, damaged, expired).
  • Enable real-time inventory visibility through dashboards and system tools.
  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce manual tracking and improve system reliance.
  • Support automation and digitalization initiatives (e.g., system enhancements, data integration, workflow automation).
  • Apply structured problem-solving using data to eliminate recurring inventory issues.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Procurement, Finance, QA, and IT to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Maintain process standards, SOPs, and system data structures to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
  • Take ownership of assigned inventory processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold EHS/ESD/5S standards in all activities.
  • Validate and maintain inventory master data and transaction accuracy in WMS/ERP systems.
  • Investigate transaction failures or data inconsistencies and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
  • Support inventory reconciliation activities and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.
  • Monitor key inventory parameters (e.g., stock levels, aging, excess, shortages) and escalate risks.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance inventory control and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Participate in digital initiatives such as system upgrades, automation projects, and data workflow improvements.
  • Assist in developing data models, dashboards, or tools that improve inventory control and decision-making.
  • Continuously improve data quality, process flow, and system utilization.
  • Support audit and compliance activities (ISO/internal/external) related to inventory control.
  • Handle assigned operational tasks and cross-functional requests in a timely and structured manner.

  • Inventory Accuracy ≥ 99%
  • Cycle Count Accuracy and Closure Timeliness
  • Data Integrity Across Systems (WMS/ERP/MES consistency)
  • Inventory Health: Reduction in excess, aging, and stock discrepancies
  • Process Efficiency: Reduction in manual interventions or reconciliation effort
  • Digital Contribution: Implementation of automation, dashboards, or system improvements
  • Issue Resolution Effectiveness: Timely identification and closure of inventory gaps
  • Audit Compliance Rate: 100% without findings

  • Maintains high inventory accuracy and data integrity across systems
  • Identifies and resolves inventory discrepancies proactively
  • Contributes to measurable improvements in inventory health and control
