Engineering Manager - Cloud Site Reliability Engineering (m/f/x)

Lead the strategic direction and growth of one of our Core Tribe teams whose mission is to empower Engineers to build disruptive financial products by doing foundational work providing re-usable components, implementing critical improvement and supporting other teams by identifying technological opportunities, producing knowledge and sharing best practices. 

Scalable Capital was built in the cloud from day one. Our services currently run on various AWS services like ECS, Fargate and Lambda and are distributed across multiple accounts. We embrace a DevOps culture where the development teams manage their CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for their services themself. Our Core Tribe teams focus on providing everything necessary to ensure security, reliability, development speed and scalability of our services and storages while being cost efficient.

• Build up, empower and manage a team of Cloud Site Reliability Engineers, helping them shape their individual careers and grow a performant, agile, self-organizing team
• Provide technical expertise and share best practices with your team
• Define OKRs with your team which they can deliver on
• Organise, prioritise and achieve business goals with your team and Product
• Be part of the recruitment process to attract your potential new colleagues or team members
• Collaborate with feature teams to identify the bottlenecks in performance, efficiency and scalability
• Lead design and implementation of best practices around security, performance, efficiency and scalability of our infrastructure
• Lead and drive decision processes for improvements in the field of authentication, service and storage improvements by using AWS technologies and optimise our services and respective CICD to optimise security, scalability, reliability, cost and performance
