Job Overview
- Lead and scale Scalable Capital’s Accounting function, covering German GAAP (HGB/RechKredV) and IFRS requirements
- Design, standardize, and automate accounting processes across existing and new workstreams to improve efficiency, quality, and control
- Own and drive cross-functional accounting projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., auditors, tax advisors), and continuously improve the accounting process landscape
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the monthly and annual close, including monthly tax reporting and support for related reporting requirements
- Contribute to the design of booking logic and posting patterns within our in-house core banking system, ensuring accurate and scalable accounting treatment
