SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Consultant/Specialist Prosthodontist to join our esteemed dental team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in restoring and replacing teeth to improve the function and aesthetics of patients' smiles.
As a Consultant/Specialist Prosthodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing oral conditions, developing treatment plans, and utilizing various prosthodontic techniques and materials to produce high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported prostheses.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health to determine the need for prosthodontic treatment
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals
- Design and create fixed and removable prosthodontic appliances
- Collaborate with dental laboratory technicians to ensure accurate fabrication of restorations
- Educate patients on treatment options, oral care, and maintenance of prosthetic devices
- Monitor and adjust prosthetic devices as necessary to ensure optimal fit and function
- Work closely with other dental specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay informed on the latest developments in the field of prosthodontics through continuous education
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of care
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited prosthodontics residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in prosthodontics
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality prosthodontic care
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and restorative techniques
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients
- Ability to work harmoniously in a team-focused environment
