ABOUT THE ROLE

The Solutions Architect is responsible for independently analyzing, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise systems and business processes. This role actively uncovers improvement opportunities, translates business needs into system and data solutions, and partners with stakeholders to deliver measurable operational value. The Solutions Architect balances execution with proactive problem-solving and continuous enhancement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

System Analysis and Optimization

  • Analyze, maintain, and enhance enterprise systems to meet organizational objectives.
  • Identify and implement workflow automation opportunities.
  • Support and optimize system integrations and configurations.
  • Maintain and revise business and system processes to meet evolving needs.
  • Refine, and advance enterprise systems to align with and drive organizational goals, ensuring robust performance and sustainable growth.
  • Use data insights to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.


Business Intelligence Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Partner with business units to gather requirements and deliver actionable analytics.
  • Proactively identifies trends, performance gaps, and automation opportunities through data.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, relevance, and accessibility.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leaders.


Proactive Technology Shaping

  • Identify system improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Expand and optimize technology usage across the organization.
  • Evaluate new tools and platforms that improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Translate business processes into effective system workflows.


Cross Training and User Enablement

  • Develop and maintain system documentation and guides.
  • Facilitate cross-training to improve adoption and business continuity.


Project Management

  • Lead and support system implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and end users through the project lifecycle.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of financial institution experience.
  • 2+ years supporting system administration and technical changes.
  • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple systems and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on engaging stakeholders and driving results.
  • Demonstrates commitment to SCU Values.



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Fiserv DNA;
  • Experience with Temenos;
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization software;
  • Experience with SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Power Automate



Working Conditions:

  • This is a hybrid role with work performed remotely as well as in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • The nature of work may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Compensation: Compensation is based on the candidate's geographical location, calculated based on an adjustment factor from the Seattle area market compensation.
