Edit Producer

We’re looking for a Unicorn.
SeenTV is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Edit Producer to join our team. You will play a key role in a youth-oriented viral video campaign for a major international NGO, working across 12 countries. This is a fast-paced role that involves juggling multiple projects and collaborating with teams worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

• Writing clear and detailed edit scripts that align with the original briefs.
• Managing translated interview transcripts (in multiple languages) and footage from mobile journalists around the world.
• Collaborating with editors, providing feedback to ensure the films meet the brief and the desired outcome.
• Coordinating post-production schedules to ensure everything runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
• Juggling multiple edits at the same time without compromising on quality.
• Staying organised and working under tight deadlines. Attention to detail is key!

What You Should Be Good At:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in film production, especially in post-production.
• Familiarity with viral video formats and experience working on short films.
• Strong experience in production management and scheduling.
• The ability to multitask and stay on top of multiple projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Being based in or around Johannesburg, South Africa (preferred).
