Machine Operator - International Biscuits Limited

As a Machine Operator for International Biscuits Limited under Seprod Limited, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of various pac.kaging and processing machines. Your primary goal is to ensure the production of high-quality biscuits while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Monitor the packaging machines and ensure good quality wrapping is be made for the biscuits

• Ensure that each pack contains an adequate quantity of biscuits, is correctly dated coded and is properly sealed and within the weight and product quality specifications
• Ensure the date coder is in place, with the correct settings and functioning properly
• Ensure the production log sheets are properly filled out, with hourly production and production issues properly recorded
• Ensure that packaging material usage is recorded, and kept within established requirements
• Make recommendation for correcting machine faults and to ensure the smooth running of machines
• Monitor packaging material stock
• Ensure that good housekeeping practices are maintained in the work area.
• Strictly adhere to  GMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and Food Safety standards in the execution of daily tasks
• Perform other functions consistent with the position

Requirements

• Secondary level education with four (4) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English
• One (1) year work experience
