Senior Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team in Rockville, MD. In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of transportation systems that improve mobility, enhance safety, and promote sustainability within our communities.

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure, including roadways, intersections, and traffic control systems
• Utilize traffic simulation and modeling software to evaluate transportation scenarios
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation solutions into broader urban development projects
• Prepare engineering plans, technical specifications, reports, and project documentation
• Develop and implement traffic management and safety strategies to reduce congestion
• Engage with stakeholders and participate in client meetings to present and discuss transportation plans
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers
