Junior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Rockville, MD. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will assist in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure.

• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements
• Perform engineering calculations and analyze data to support project designs
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various aspects of civil, structural or related engineering projects
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures
• Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies
