ICC Plan Check Engineer - West Valley, Arizona

Shums Coda Associates, Inc. is a privately held company providing professional Building and Safety Consulting Services to jurisdictions to verify conformance with all applicable Building Codes. We are seeking part-time, experienced Plan Check Engineer for our jurisdictional client in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, calculations and specifications for compliance with the most current adopted ordinances, laws, and state building codes.

• Preparation of plans review comment letter according to municipality direction and SCA standards.

• Meet and confer with the clients as-needed (via phone, email, virtual meeting or in-person) to clarify plan check comments.
