Shift - Mon, Tues, Wes and Thurs 9:30a to 2:30p

Today, Sifted creates experiential lunch programs for high-growth, culture-centric companies. Brands who want to treat their staff to chef-made, hand-delivered lunches hire Sifted to provide a daily or weekly lunch in their office.
Sifted is hiring a customer experience-minded professional to deliver lunch and manage the on-site experience at our clients’ locations. In this hybrid role, you will work in an on-site kitchen with the guidance of an experienced executive chef for half of your day and the other half will be a host role working with an on-site supervisor.
The ideal candidate is interested in pop-up events and values all the elements that contribute to an out-of-this-world event experience.
This position requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the Sifted lunch experience at the client’s location and ensuring every staff member is delighted
- Creating an inspired, pop-up vibe in the client’s office using branded butcher paper and creativity
- Telling the story of the menu and featured ingredients through branded messaging on the paper
- Collecting feedback including specific metrics and report back to the Community Manager
- Suggesting ways to increase efficiency and improve the experience
- Cleaning and preparing meats and vegetables
- Stewarding, expediting product out of the door
- Maintaining clear communication with the executive chef and city manager at all times
- Keeping station and work areas clean at all times
- Taking ownership of whatever task is at hand

- Has worked in previous kitchen roles such as line cook, prep/dishwasher
- Has had experience with catering and event servicing
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has a working knowledge of diverse cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment

Eligibility : This position must maintain a ServSafe Food Handler certification
Work environment : This is a position based both in a commercial kitchen and on-site in client offices; requires use of personal vehicle
Physical requirements : Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time; ability to lift objects of up to 50 pounds without assistance; ability to maintain a safe work area in an environment where open flames and sharp objects can pose safety hazards if not handled properly
