Maintenance Technician II

Salary:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $31.25 - $39.25 + $1 shift differential and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Shifts:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 12:00am

3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30pm - 6:00am

Summary: 

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician II is to ensure production and operations are running safely at the most efficient level achievable, producing the highest possible production quality.  Servicing and repairing complex equipment. Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s Safety program.

Essential Functions:

• Performs troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems. 
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.
• Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management.
• Performs corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.  
• Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time.
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
• Respond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers.     
• Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.
