About the role
As a Business Analyst Salesforce, you will join the Systems Development team and play a key role in driving continual systems improvement, with a strong focus on Salesforce-based solutions. Responsibilities
- Work independently with stakeholders to define business problems and opportunities, ensuring objectives and perspectives are clearly understood
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements using interviews, workshops, and process analysis
- Translate business needs into clear, structured Salesforce requirements and solution designs
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, and QA teams throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Produce and maintain high-quality business analysis artefacts, including: Requirements specifications, Process flows, System and functional documentation
- Prepare test data and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations, quality standards, and acceptance criteria
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a systems or software development environment
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, ideally including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning experience, Custom Salesforce functionality
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly: Requirements definition, Validation, Acceptance testing
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum or hybrid delivery frameworks
- Practical experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into clear, practical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working on Salesforce transformation or systems improvement initiatives
- Exposure to cross-functional enterprise environments with multiple stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with change management or process optimisation activities
- Salesforce certifications or formal business analysis qualifications
