This Brisbane-based leadership role combines strategic oversight with regular site engagement, providing the opportunity to lead multiple operations while driving client satisfaction, financial performance, safety outcomes and people development.

Who are we looking for?

As the Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and support to a portfolio of Village Managers and Chef Managers across multiple sites. Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you will be accountable for operational performance, client relationships, safety, financial outcomes, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives across your region.

You will be a strong communicator and relationship builder, capable of balancing client expectations, business priorities and operational outcomes. Success in this role requires a calm and visible leadership style, strong commercial acumen and the ability to coach and develop leaders while driving accountability and performance.

This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader with a background in remote site services, hospitality, facilities management or a similar service-driven environment. You'll bring experience managing multiple locations, leading high-performing teams and delivering results in complex operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Village Managers and Chef Managers across multiple sites.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive operational excellence, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage regional budgets, labour costs and financial performance.
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs and service delivery outcomes.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
• Drive workforce planning, employee engagement and leadership development initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement and business growth.
• Ensure contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards are consistently achieved. 

About You

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within hospitality, remote sites, facilities management or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple sites, teams and operational budgets.
• Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop leaders across geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgets and operational performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Advanced understanding of workforce planning, performance management and employee engagement.
• Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, police clearance and drug & alcohol screening.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years' leadership experience within remote site operations, hospitality, facilities management, industrial services or a related industry.
• Experience managing large operational portfolios, client contracts and financial performance.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations Management, Hospitality, Facilities Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery highly desirable.
• Experience working within remote or resource-sector environments is advantageous.
