What’s the role?

Join our team as a Catering Assistant in Ballarat, supporting the day-to-day catering operations across food preparation and service. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent Monday to Friday hours.

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 4:00am - 12:00pm
• Assist with food preparation and catering service
• Support kitchen and front-of-house operations
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Work as part of a supportive team

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including basic meal and sandwich preparation
• Support catering and food service operations
• Maintain clean, hygienic and organised food preparation areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver quality service

About you

• Previous hospitality, catering or food service experience
• Comfortable with early morning starts
• Reliable, organised and able to work at pace
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude

To be successful, you'll need:

• Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights (WHV cannot be accepted)
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and police check
• Previous hospitality or catering experience
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 4:00am - 12:00pm, 38 hours per week
• Ideally, you will live in or around the Ballarat area
