Job Overview
The MRB Stress Engineer assesses and approves structural repairs for non-conformities in aerospace components. They perform stress analysis to ensure repairs meet safety, certification, and airworthiness requirements. The role is critical in maintaining structural integrity while minimizing production delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze non-conformities and assess structural impacts on aircraft components.
- Develop and validate repair solutions while ensuring compliance with certification and regulatory standards (FAR, EASA, FAA, etc.).
- Perform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses to justify repairs.
- Review and approve MRB dispositions for production and in-service aircraft.
- Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers to optimize repair strategies.
- Support production teams in resolving structural issues efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to industry’s best practices and company engineering guidelines.
- Document engineering analyses, reports, and justifications for audit and certification purposes
- Understand AS 9100 standard requirements related to the responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree of Science in Engineering or relevant field
- 5+ years of MRB stamping authority experience on Boeing platforms, preferably 737, 777, 787
- Familiar with Boeing processes and specifications is a plus
- Extensive experience in metallic or composite components (based on specific requirement)
- Engineering knowledge with experience of FEM in aircraft industry.
- Experience with Damage Tolerance Analysis in aircraft industry.
- Ability to interpret non conformance reports.
- DTA tools such as CRPR program for DADT analysis (if required)
- Experience utilizing MS office (Word, Excel, etc.)
