Housekeeping Graduate trainees

Sokoni Africa Limited is pleased to announce a Housekeeping Graduate Trainee program for recent graduates eager to develop their skills and knowledge in the hospitality sector. As a Housekeeping Graduate Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in various housekeeping operations while contributing to maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas
• Learn and implement proper cleaning techniques and procedures
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance housekeeping skills
• Support the housekeeping team in inventory management and supply restocking
• Help in conducting inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure quality standards are met
• Foster positive relationships with guests and respond to their requests or concerns
• Contribute to maintaining safety and hygiene standards throughout the hotel

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Strong desire to build a career in housekeeping or hospitality
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
