Job Overview
- To develop and enhance budget template to to ensure the accuracy and consistency of project cost estimates.
- To assist in liaising with vendor to obtain quotations for tender and project execution purposes.
- To evaluate and analyze contractor quotations and support vendor negotiation and awarding strategies.
- To ensure vendor's contractual compliance with project terms and conditions.
- To manage vendor-related claims, variations, and change orders in accordance with contractual obligations.
- To assist in the preparation of vendor awarding documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Responsible to ensure proper filing ad document control for various documents such as correspondence, sub-contractors’ progress claim and payment certificate, Main contractor’s claim, etc.
- To apply creative and critical thinking to streamline internal processes and tools.
- To identify workflow inefficiencies and propose automation or digital solutions to support continuous improvement and enhance departmental productivity.
- Any other task which may be assigned from time to time by the superior and management.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, M&E Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience or internships in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
