Assistant Manager - Digital Supply Chain
Job Overview
As part of our Digital Supply Chain team, you will be driving end-to-end digital content supply chain excellence across global platforms. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline ingestion, metadata management, and multi-platform delivery of audio and video content, ensuring high quality, Zero Defect releases, and shorter go-to-market timelines. The person has strong expertise in workflow optimization, platform integrations, automation, and digital publishing standards (across Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, VEVO, etc.), collaborates closely with product teams, DSPs, global partners, and content delivery ops. Leverages data mapping and revenue tracking tools to support monetization strategies and portfolio performance.
What you'll do:
- Managing digital release workflows using global standards
- Ensure timely content ingestion and platform readiness
- Overseeing quality control and compliance using automation-driven QC tools
- Coordinating cross-region content launches and platform onboarding
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline end-to-end digital content supply chain operations, ensuring timely release across global platforms.
- Work closely with product and content managers to facilitate seamless digital publishing, adhering to standardized global release processes and applying platform best practices.
- Coordinate with international teams to proactively troubleshoot technical issues using modern workflow and incident management tools.
- Deliver metadata, media assets, and related ingestion activities within defined SLAs, enabling faster go-to-market for audio and video content.
- Oversee inbound and outbound quality control of content according to evolving digital platform requirements and AI-enabled compliance tools.
- Execute content ordering through the global order management system, aligning live dates with strategic release schedules.
- Collaborate with global media production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate ingestion into central repository systems, optimizing ingestion velocity.
- Resolve delivery-related issues by engaging with technical teams of digital streaming platforms (DSPs) and maintaining high operational responsiveness.
- Manage Apple Music (formerly iTunes) storefront health and performance metrics to ensure timely visibility of products, addressing tickets or exceptions immediately to avoid escalations.
- Oversee partner integrations, ensuring frictionless onboarding and alignment with global content supply workflows.
- Coordinate with regional affiliates (including US, Canada, and Middle East) to push content across digital platforms and manage cross-territory release dependencies.
- Map asset and metadata data to internal systems to support revenue tracking, content monetization, and performance reporting.
- Address international team queries related to global repertoire and catalog prioritization with clarity and operational agility.
- Liaise with broadcast delivery vendors (e.g., Prime Focus) to streamline ingest-to-delivery workflows for linear and digital broadcast partners.
- Manage third-party integrations via content distribution dashboards, ensuring robust system connectivity and automation readiness.
- Resolving platform exceptions and minimizing operational escalations
- Enhancing metadata strategy to improve searchability and algorithmic reach
- Managing integrations and dashboard-based digital distribution systems
Who you are:
- Postgraduate; BE preferred
- 1–3 years in Music, Media, or Digital Supply Chain
- Strong knowledge of digital operations and global release processes
- Expertise in content ingestion systems and partner delivery
- Understanding of digital audio/video specs and basic QC standards
- Advanced Excel and strong computer skills Process-oriented, detail-focused, and quality-driven
- Effective verbal and written communication with internal, external, and global stakeholders
- Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and learn quickly
- Meticulous, patient, and highly accurate
