Specialist System Engineer, IT

Roles and Responsibilities:

Implementation:

• Install new products and apply performance and security procedures. Supervise the migration of existing solutions and apply needed updates.

• Complete configuration and upgrading based on design and specifications according to STS business and technical requirements. Supervise the administration of systems to ensure availability of services to authorized users.

• Align with STS business requirements and transform this to IT related technologies and implementations.

Testing, Documentation and Reporting:

• Complete integration and test the applications and systems.

• Prepare full documentation of the implemented products and software.

• Provide timely status reports to IT manager. Regular updates to STS IT related documents.

• Provide project LLD design and project implementation plan.

Technical Assistance and Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues when contacted by STS employees by providing the proper support.

• Maintain applications, operating systems and perform various preventative maintenance tasks for STS IT Infrastructure.

• Collaborate with other team members to provide the maximum value to STS.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or related IT field
• 4-8 years of experience in IT
• Good experience of implementation, setup and troubleshooting of Virtualization environment (MS Hyper-V).
• Good experience of implementation, setup and troubleshooting of Veeam Backup solution:
• Good experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and MS Exchange solution.
• Complete command on dealing with Antivirus, antimalware and Endpoint protection.
• Excellent command of both English & Arabic languages (writing, reading & conversation)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
