Job Overview

Join our Audiovisual (AV) unit, which is responsible for the platform development, provision, and distribution of live streaming event coverage across the world by maintaining the company’s strong and vast relationships with rights holders, media and betting companies globally. The team provides the platform for the following product groups: The OTT platform solutions team provides dedicated live streaming solutions, including Betradar’s Live Channel, for online and retail bookmakers to increase betting stimulation and entertainment. With streams for over 40,000 events, we provide the most comprehensive streaming portfolio in the market. 

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced sales and business development manager for our media rights unit. This role will be sales-focused, reaching out to broadcasters and digital media platforms to distribute Sportradar’s media rights portfolio. Supporting the collaboration with federations, leagues or sports rights holders and acquiring rights will be an additional part of the role. You will need to use your personal network as well as our organisation to drive this business significantly.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Be part of the rights sales and business development team for Sportradar
  • Revenue responsibility for media rights sales in Europe / Americas
  • Support the rights acquisition process
  • Identifying and acquiring new clients
  • Negotiation of new agreements with international clients, including presenting and pitching in front of clients
  • Market-Monitoring and identification of trends
  • Sticking to internal reporting structures for sales KPIs
  • Support the product teams to optimise the products from a sales perspective

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Previous proven account management or strong new business development experience in sports media rights or a related sports business area
  • Strong sales-driven personality, outgoing individual with a strong desire for new business development
  • Previous proven E2E Sales Experience and ability to work independently
  • Understanding of the wider global sports audiovisual environment (rights and licensing cycles)
  • Fluent in English and German, another language is an advantage
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of the media and digital landscape
